Weichai Deutz 226B Series Diesel Engines for Road Rollers
Weichai Deutz 226B series diesel engines are produced by Weichai - Deutz joint venture. Currently, four models in this series (D226B-4, D226B-6, TD226B-4 and TD226B-6) are applied to road roller industry.
This diesel engine has the advantages of low fuel consumption, low noise, low emission, large torque reserve, long service life, etc. The low-mounted fan, rear drive PTO of 1: 1.136 and 1:1, and various pump-flange connection types provide greater space for streamlined design of road roller hood; in order to ensure no early wear, the air cleaner with an exhaust ejector device is used, improving the primary filter effect by 20%. Hence, it is a new generation of ideal alternative engine for road rollers.
